Just go to the bar.

Shhhh.

Ha. skip the tourist line and order from the bar. Don't tell anyone else though. I'd go with fried shrimp at parkway if i had 1 choice.

No love for Domilise's on the board? Mahoney's root beer ham is really good, and Parasol's used to put out a roast beef good po boy. Not sure about the quality anymore.

You can get this and the Peacemaker At Bevi. If you are going to be with someone just spilt half of both of these poboys.

I’m partial to the half shrimp half oyster at the Rivershack (not technically New Orleans but whatever), but really there are so many that are great.

Favorite: Roast beef from Bear's in Metry.

For variety, recommend: Parran's Trifecta Poboy. It's 3 seperate 4" poboys. Fried Shrimp, Roast Beef and Italian Meatball

I’d only add the ferdie from Bears, but that’s just my preference. If I left the city and came back, I’d get the above list.

The Cure at Bevi. Parkway is overrated, imo.

You say parkway is overrated and then show something that should be on man vs food.

I'm sure it's good, but it's a little ridiculous.

Surf & Turf at Parkway

Can you explain the appeal here? Is it just a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives kinda thing where you have to eat something like that if it's available?

Just seems like it would get muddled down with too much going on.

The shrimp poboy at Parkway would be my vote for the OP.
