That's what I said all along... it's the food that's going to make or break it. Since he obviously has zero desire to differentiate himself from 90% of the city in the beer department.

Never hated on anything, I simply said I didn't get the people gushing about Canebrake and Nola all the time. Nola has good options, but they aren't groundbreaking. Canebrake isn't my thing sue me.
I got crucified on here because I said I like tin roof amber better than Abita in another thread.
I came here for advice. I honestly never imagined a food board thread this long. shite I think I doubled my post count.
FTR we won't have st Arnold well we may but not the way I said way earlier.

No doubt. I had always heard positive things about the old Nooleys, but had never actually tried it. Looking forward to it.
Sandwiched between The Cove, Bulldog, and Pelican it has to be the food. He can't offer anything those guy don't. That's why the whole no BMC argument was silly IMO.

all he really needs to do is mention that most of his food will be coming from SYSCO and this thread will be FDB greatness

I don't buy anything from Sysco. They are the evil empire. I've been in sales in this industry for a long time and I know what Sysco is.

I'll say this, the Beer Nerd Posse are a ruthless, blood thirsty lot but they are passionate as frick about their cold beer. The Rutgers dude wished upon Jake buisness failure and subsequent financial ruin because of his beer selection. That's harsh.

I also don't study beer so I came here to ask some opinions, and people like you jumped on every word I said. It's all good though because if you come by the place I'll happily pour you a pint of bud light in a frozen mug
