Can’t believe I am saying this but it’s OK. Coming from Abita it seems they are finally making an effort.

Tried last week. It’s to the right of an Omnipollo I was drinking

Grabbed one from Calandro's yesterday. I shite on Abita a lot, but Hop On is solid. They need to make that a year-round brew.

I think Abita is having a Hop On pub crawl in Baton Rouge in the Northgate area.

I might head up to the abita taproom and give it a try.

Got one on tap at the taproom before they started distributing it, and thought it was pretty good. I haven't had it in cans, but if it holds up canned as it did on tap it's pretty good.

What's the price on a 6 pack?

My best friend bartends in BR and I asked him if he's had any yet. He told me he had some yesterday with an Abita rep and per the rep, Abita has taken so long to come out with something juicy because the brewmaster isn't much of a Hop head and basically had to be forced to do it. If true what a moron. There's nothing appealing about Abita anymore with the Louisiana craft beer scene exploding in recent years.

I picked up a 6pack for 8.49. Hope it’s decent.

May be one of the dumber things I've seen on this board, and that's saying a lot. He must just like super fruity ales since they put out like 824 of those.

Just telling you what I heard. I trust my friend as a source, but can't speak for the rep he spoke with. The fact of the matter is they've waited far too long to jump into the haze craze. I'm just wondering what took so long.

I know from reading around that plenty breweries across the country don't particular like having to create juicy beers, but to stay relevant and cater to demand they kinda don't have a choice.

Cracked a couple tonight and they’re enjoyable. Slight malt and not bursting with flavor but definitely an easy drinker and it’s lacking the strong malt that they used in their shotgun IIPA. Comparable to a scaled down version of hoppyright infringement, I’ll pick more up.

Had it tonight in a can. Was also at the Chimes on draft but passed. Really like the beer. $8.99 a 6 pack, hard to beat for a juicy IPA.

Just had it. Average. Juicy is a lie.
