Lots of chicken talk lately and the whole chickens were on sale .79/lb so we decided its high time to drag out the black iron pot and woop up a batch of my favorite chicken dish this Cajun style Chicken and pasta I say pasta this time cause Peg is making her home made noodles.

Here is how we make it. Cajun chicken spagetti
I'll get a pic of this batch and Peg's noodles but ya really should try this wonderful and traditional Cajun version

Coincidence. The wife is making that tonight, but of the cheesy variety.

Yours looks better, IMO.

Looks great. And being gluten free will definitely help with the diabeetus.

Thanks for posting Captain Ray. That looks awesome! My kids love that stuff but I'm kind of burned out on the cheesy kind. I'm going to try yours.

The link works for me. Sorry ya didn't see it. We really love this sauce it takes time to build but for me das beer drinkin time. The same sauce is great with red fish chunks too. ya just add them at the end not the beginning.

I live in Vacherie but that was my moms recipee and we are originally from st Landry parish and thats where this came from mama made it often and the family always asked her to.

Thanks for the recipe Ray. Fed an army for $19.95. The kids loved it and so did my wife.

sssssoooo glad ya liked it it amkes us feel good when someone follows our recipe and video and comes back and tells us it was a hit. Thanks so much for the reply.

Cooked this tonight. My kids mopped it up and getting them to eat anything is a challenge

My family has always made this with chickens we raised them they were cheap and still are. I have had the same sauce with chunks of red fish, chunks of pork roast, pork chops, etc but my favorite is ole chicken sketty.
