You got this in BR? I'd like to get some.

I had a bottle of this one last night at dinner. It was pretty solid.

Found it in Central actually, which limits the location to precisely one possibility...

Perfect. I'll be in Central tomorrow/Monday for Christmas with my family.

I found the wine at Oak Point! I agree it was good.

Tonight is just another bottle of Justin, for now. Dinner reservations in a bit.

Got 2 bottles of Justin at Costco for Christmas.

Anybody think the Turnbull was chocolate-y at the finish?

If anybody has information about Diamond Creek vineyards or have had it, that would be great appreciated. Thinking about buying some wines in order to get a GTS for my brother

I’ve had some really old Diamond Creek that stood the test of time and thought it was incredible. It was at Brennan’s in the wine room. They did this thing where you pull a number out of a hat and get a bottle of wine that was in the cellar when Katrina hit. It would either be crap or gold. But the hostess pulled the Diamond creek (believe it was 92) and it was still showing tremendously after all that.

That said, it’s my only experience with that label.

That’s an awesome story. Never had Diamond Creek but would love the opportunity. At that level, you really have to pick and choose, because the average person isn’t going to drink bottles of that caliber very often. I have 3. Jarvis Lake William, Opus One, & Dominus. I probably open one of each every year, and really appreciate those opportunities.

The finish wasn’t that good. And two other people thought the same
