Same here. I took a quick glance at the list and didn’t see very many that were realistic purchases for me

It seems most of these aren't even on the shelves yet for the general public. I do like looking back a couple years on the list because now is when you can actually get some of the top bottles

These lists are usually not the best.

For me, their use is to shake me out of my habits/comfort zone occasionally and potentially try something new.

Lousiana has pretty lax wine importation laws. Most wine distributors will ship to your home; unlike Mississippi.
Check out Blacksmith wines or Benchmark wines if interested.
Also, Martin's carries Talbot and Beaucastel. Both great wines for the price.

I'm a fan of the wines of Argentina so I was happy to see several on this list. #s 17, 23, 43, 51.
Also some nice Chilean wines and Australian wines on the list
