What are y'all drinking these days? Looking for both every day wines plus anything a bit more upscale (but not Screaming Eagle upscale).

What's a good dry Riesling I can try from Alsace/Germany?

I'm drinking Yves Colin Morey St Aubin, Le Banc, chardonnay from the St Aubin region of Burgundy. The YCM St Aubin bottlings, there are a few, are generally $50-$70 and are really good chardonnays.

I gotta admit I really enjoy the Dave Matthew's dreaming tree crush as a weeknight sipper.its cheap, and incredibly smooth.

If you want Italian get a Barbera, a plain old Nebbiolo or a Chianti Classico. None break the bank and all have good wines priced for everyday drinking. To me, this means in the $20 or so a bottle range.

Try to find an Italian Soave if looking for white.

Red - Meiomi Pinot Noir

White - Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio.

Both should be $18-$20.

Stick to the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. Just about everything coming out of that area is amazing. You'll want "Trocken" which translates to "dry" in German.

My favorites are wines coming out of the mittelmosel area around Bernkastel-Kues.

Trimbach is going to have something reasonably priced that is good.

If you have a Costco nearby, most of their Kirklands labeled wines are well above average and I don't think any of them are over $20. Their Meritage and Zinfandel are good and +/- $11.

They have a New Zealand Sauv. Blanc called Ti Point for about $7 that is great. They also have a Pinot Grigio that is good and only $6'ish.

Upscale I've had recently: Robert Mondavi Oakville-To Kalon grapes Cabernet, Chateau Montelena Cabernet, Ramey Cabernet, Kosta Browne RRV Pinot Noir, Enroute Les Pommiers RRV Pinot Noir, Anderson's Conn Valley Eloge Cabernet, and Plumjack from Oakville Cabernet,

In the $30-$40 range: Freemark Abbey has a great Cabernet. Mt. Veeder Winery has a solid Cabernet. Siduri has a great Pinot Noir from Santa Lucia Highlands.

Dropping down: Ameztoi Txakolina is like a little, fizzy sweet tart. Really delicious white wine from Basque Country. Coteaux du Languedoc Picpoul is a yummy white wine at Whole Foods and $10'ish. J. Lohr Hilltop Paso Robles Cabernet is $25'ish and quite good. You can also find Daou or Bishop's Peak for about the same price and comparable quality. OPP and Cuvaison are also two other solid Pinot Noirs that are sub $30.

Hope this helps some. Enjoy

I can confirm as well. I hope my OP on this did not create stock issues.

Backup would be French Truck but Costco is a much better deal.

One of my all time favorite bordeaux blends, regardless of price point.
