Say on Perkins, Jefferson areas?
AS no eat places are open, they would be making a killin.
Lunch in these areas is major business.

They're working on doing something much better for the community <3

I don't like most food trucks. I only like the carribean one

Because everyone in LA wants fried food and fryer-equipped food trucks are generally more expensive (fire suppression, insurance, etc). JK, but actually seems plausible.

I feel like there was a mini food truck boom circa 2009 but it lasted like 1 or maybe 2 years and it went away for good.

Pretty much
I think there’s a decent food truck thing in Perkins Rowe every now and then

BR has a hard enough time supporting a dynamic restaurant scene and a lack of a real centralized area for workers at lunchtime.
Imagine the average BR person being asked to pay $10 for a burger off a truck and having to provide their own beer or drink.

This would be Sherwood Forest. There’s a large number of office buildings on Sherwood between I-12 and Airline.

I saw something where they're trying to start up scheduled pre-order delivery services for neighborhoods during all of this.
If you're talking about just why we don't have many in general, it probably has a lot to do with there not being a reliable enough market to support a lot. You'd think downtown with all the government buildings in a food desert would be a mecca for them. Nope.

I mean walkable. Downtown is the closest thing BR has.

We do have some but they mostly focus on going to high-volume easy sales, like breweries or downtown venues and events. There's not enough demand to drive competition out to less dense areas where people would drive to them specifically for that food.

They are lined up along North Street at lunch time every workday.

I don't know about BR, but in Lafayette I think it went away because the good ones moved into brick & mortar locations. Might be the same in BR too.
