damn thanks guys

The best, I doubt that, I just enjoy cooking and enjoy seeing others enjoy what I cook even more.

I am far from a professional, although I have cooked for a few big events.

Learned from my Dad who cooked many Jamabalya's and Gumbos, my mom who was a great cook herself, my Cajun Grandma in the country and my other grandparents who owned a meat market in Opelousas many many years ago.

I think from just reading post on here that Gris Gris might take that honor.

I misread "his diabetes is legendary", then laughed for five minutes, then thought of Wilford Brimley and laughed for ten minutes more.

don't be upset if you didn't get mentioned.
Most of us have never had one anothers food.
It would be so much fun to do. I love to cook, but I'm still learning and I will never stop learning.
I'm sure everyone here could teach me something new about cooking.

But I would really like to do a cook off, we could even give out prizes and or trophies.

Have like 3 Different categories: 1) Grilling 2)Creole/Cajun 3)Deserts ...or something like that.

Or dishes: 1) Jambalaya 2) Gumbo 3)Side dish

Just throwing ideas out there I think it would be fun.

Gris Gris could finally meet the man that told the board Casey Anthony was going to get acquited

great idea..

categories, as some here will be better with entire dishes, some with cooking proteins, and some with baking.

I need a couple of weeks to try out some new things I tried in the last few days.
I think everytime I make chargrilled oysters, I will top it with Tasso, like Old Ebbet Grill in DC does, so good..

Losers.

You find another gig?

I'm 75% sure I suck at cooking, but I love doing it.

It's obvious none of you have ever eaten Poche's food - It's really not that good I promise.
