Whoah, Where do you live, NYC? I travel around Texas a lot for work and that combo is consistently around $8.

Wendy’s is also the answer to your value question. You can get a good lunch there there for $5. They’ve always had a great value menu.

If stuck on road for a burger, I use the mc D ap. Chicken sammich, free large fry and I keep case water in the truck.

Under 5 bucks

Yep. As others have said, you have to get the places fast food app for a decent price. That or if you're eating fast food in town, find a weekly flyer with all the coupons.

Jesus Christ I couldn’t eat this in 2 meals.

Hell at Wendy’s a Cobb salad, Apple Bites, and an unsweet tea is $14.50 after taxes. And it’s 700 calories smh.

Apps are the way to go. McDonald's isn't my favorite, but it is the only thing really close to my job. Maybe once a week I'll grab breakfast and one other day grab lunch. I live 5 minutes from the office so I'm going home for lunch most days. But every now and then I just need something quick. Look on the app for deals, order from my desk, and pull through the drive thru to pick it up.

I know prices have skyrocketed but you are delusional if you think that meal was $6 three years ago. Wendy’s is my favorite fast food burger and I promise you they have been high as hell, long before Covid. I’m sure it has gone up since Covid but it was already far higher than other fast food joints.

When I go to Wendy’s I get the $5 Biggie Bag. Double stack, small fry, 4 piece nuggets and a small drink. Not a bad deal at all.

Get off the drink. That stuff is poison. Water is cheap and better for you.

You might be confusing the sandwiches up. McChicken sandwiches arent that big. Only like 350 calories. Its basically the value menu crap.

Well, the original poster said he eats 2 McDoubles and 2 McChickens and also a medium fry in one meal. It's 1,920 calories. It's four sandwiches and a french fry. It's a ton of food.

Remember, the original poster said he eats four sandwiches (2 McDoubles and 2 McChickens).

McDoubles and McChickens are both 400 calories.

He said

quote:

I took this as he can get 2 of the mcdoubles and a fry as an order OR 2 of the chicken sandwiches and a fry. Maybe its just worded weird

You're correct. I misread it. I was too eager to slam the dude for eating four sandwiches.

I had 2 bean burritos and a small nachos from Del Taco the other day and it was like 6 bucks. Cheapest lunch I've had in awhile and it wasn't too bad.

i was shocked. got wendy's a few months ago. just a small nugget combo for my wife and just a double cheese burger for me, not even combo and it was 13 bucks.

i almost never eat fast food especially drive through but i thought it was suppose to be cheap. i can cook several meals for myself on 13 bucks that are way healthier for you.
