You're right... It didn't. It walked out of the back room to someone's car in a case. Why ration it out over several people when you can get rid of it all in one haul? It's just people getting pissy bc someone else had the connect to get the case.

From what i can tell, it appears the pictures of people with cases are from previous hauls, and some from GR day. I don't believe anyone in retail is selling ghost by the case. If you find one that is, please let us know.
You also aren't really privy to how craft beer stores and their clientele work. If someone does start emptying out cases to people on a habitual basis, then the normal would be craft consumers will start going somewhere else. Will it bankrupt the business? No. But you'll piss off many a patron. And i'm referencing a case, not holding onto a bottle or 4 pack for repeat customers.
FWIW, your troll attempt isn't very subtle. Try harder.

I was referncing the troll. Fact is, no one is emptying out a case, at least from the more established stores. Some of the unknowing stores that get it, may not put limits on it, but i doubt others are getting cases.
I managed to get 1 4 pack from Alexanders yesterday, and that is more than enough for me.

See that's the thing, I do get it. It's a high demand craft beer. Just like pappy is a high demand whiskey. Or whatever super luxurious wine is in demand. I just love when people get pissed off because someone who was smarter, quicker, or had better connections and gets the last case, 4 pack, or couple of bottles. Either be quicker, smarter, or become butt buddies with the store owner, manager, distributer, or stock boy.
