Who remembers the what a burger on plank road in the early 70's?

I think it was close to Chippewa.

It was the Burger Chef & Jeff next to the Woolco on plank at airline. Is that what you are remembering?

I remember this. There was another one or two Burger Chefs around but I can't place them.

No. It was near Chippewa for like ever.

There was one on the west side of Airline somewhere near Hollywood/Greenwell. We used to stop there on the way back from Old River.
Also another on Florida Blvd across from Bon Marche.

Yes, it was down from Ourso's and next to Fidelity Bank. Used to stop there after Istrouma Jr final exams.

Anybody remember Globe on Florida? It was a grocery store next to a sort of downscale K Mart. I went there once when I was about 10. I thought it was the filthiest place I'd ever seen.

When I was 4 or 5 we were going to pick up dad at the airport and stopped in that Burger Chef.
As we were reaching for our food the big arse light fixture above us fell on our table! My sisters hand was trapped under it. Would have been a legal battle these days but I don't even think we sent the food back, lol...
