Newcomer to my area.... dude carries excellent CAB beef and other great cuts...and has also made an effort to carry basic groceries and TP so people in our neighborhood don't have to venture out.

While this is obviously the correct, grammatical, plural of sausage, it’s still funny reading it. The only plural of sausage I’ve ever heard around here is “a bunch of sausage”, or “links of sausage”, or more to your point, “different types of sausage”.

I went to a local meat market today for a beef tenderloin. I've never bought or cooked one before, but the recipe I have called for a 2lb trimmed tenderloin. The smallest one they had was just over 6lbs before trimming.

When they were done trimming it I was surprised to see the extra ground beef come with it. Is this normal?
