Any idea where to get Eagle Rare in Lafayette or New Orleans?

Not sure but Kroger in Alexandria had 3 on the shelf last week. I've seen it in the wild a lot more lately but maybe I'm just getting lucky

The cinnamon note is what I associate most with Willett. I get it in the shelfers too (especially Noah's Mill). It's prominent in the Hirsch.

Agreed, it’s very unique to their whiskey (I even get it on their ryes). It’s one of the reasons that Noah’s Mill is one of my favorite shelfies.

Where did you find the king ranch?

From a liquor store in Kingsville that sold his allocation to the King Ranch

I called him and asked him to hold me a bottle if he got anymore and I would buy a bottle next time I came to town. I stopped to fill my ice chest and he was there. I asked him if he had me a bottle and he asked if I was that Louisiana guy who called him a while back and I said yes. He went to the back and came out with a bottle and right about that time I found the other two bottles.

Those first couple meetings were incredible. Hopefully they can return in the near future as we continue the hunt for the Pappizzzz.
