Yeah, that is my only issue with it as well. Maybe as they ramp up production the price will come down. They are only using a fraction of the rice they produce in the distillery.

First impression is it's clearly a step above the 12 and lustau. I haven't had the px sherry unfortunately. The 12 cask strength is my favorite so I'll have to do a blind soon to see how it compares. I'll include the 15 as well. If you like RB, there's no way you won't enjoy this one.

Finished the other half of this OC sample. My initial impression holds: this has a really enjoyable spice note, but little else going on. I would have been a bit disappointed if I bought it at retail.

Just tried a belle meade 9 yr single barrel. Very Spicy MGP.. in a very good way. Is there anything that comes to mind that might come close to those old Belle Meade SBs? Its not like any MGP ive had.
