Mild on the mint but it’s there. It’s quite balanced. I actually gravitate towards the mint forward ryes and strongly away from the licorice ones.
This is a seelbachs pick as well but had a funny label not showing it. This one sold out but the rye was still available last time I checked. I’m thinking of buying a backup. I’m usually more hit than miss on rye, so to find one I really like is saying a lot for it

I actually like the mint as well. It's just really noticeable compared to the other ryes I've had (quite a few).

Who's cracked the EC B522? I'm getting it regardless, but always like to hear impressions of how it compares to previous batches.

Nice! It’s my favorite rye profile.
Now this bourbon is interesting. Midway through my glass I suddenly started receiving a string tarragon nose and palate. Came at me out of nowhere. I went and opened my jar of tarragon to compare, and sure enough it was spot on. I rarely ever pick up notes like that, and it was a cool moment.
