Anyone try the other new Jack Daniels release, the Triple Mash?

I like it quite a bit. Banana and bubblegum with a spicy finish.

Talisker 18 is amazing. I would buy 2 bottles if I could find any.

Love the Talisker 18.
Crazy how the availability of different bottles varies between states.
Allocated bourbon is damn near impossible to find where I live now. Unless you win a bottle in a raffle(or are friends with a store owner) you aren’t getting any. But I know 2 liquor stores that I could walk into right now and buy Talisker 18 off the shelf

Great pour there, dnwsr! I’ve become a big fan of Chatt. I’m visiting the distillery in July, and I hope to come away with one of their special releases.
By the way, ASW has finally made its way to Louisiana. They are up there with Starlight and Chattanooga for me in the craft whiskey realm. That duality is great, and that Tire Fire is their peated malt which is awesome. Everything is distilled and aged there; no whiskey is sourced. They do source their peated barley from Scotland for that TF. Seriously, y’all need to check their stuff out. This was at Total Wine, so I’m hoping our local stores start getting it soon.

That's a great haul you have. You must have a connection there since the Old Carter is very limited and stores have been getting only 2 bottles.
What did you pay for the Old Carter, Larceny BP, Weller's Single Barrel and EC18? I'm still looking for a Weller's SiB.

I opened my SW straight bourbon last night for the first time. It was comparable to other $25-35 bourbons. Not great, but good for sipping and cocktails.

Make sure to hit up Nunu's (Youngsville), Little Veron's, Champagne's, and Marcello's while you're there.
