Grabbed this one today. Definitely different but I'm really enjoying it.

2PD: Chestnut Farms

No picture. It's just bad. It was given to me as a Christmas present by well-meaning uninformed people. Seemed the right thing to drink after that basketball game.

Just FYI Old Forester and Woodford Reserve are both Brown-Forman products, and have a very similar taste profile (same mashbills). So that one would be much more similar to Woodford than Elijah Craig. Both are solid bottles though.

That's basically MSRP, it typically goes for somewhere between $85 and $95.

SecondPD Remus V

T00f, I just grabbed last bottle of this on the shelf at Maisanos. $93. Staying in Ocean Springs for some concert at the coliseum tonight. I’m here driving the wife and daughter from shopping to concert. I’ll be staying back at room busting this bottle open. Bought it solely on your review! Lol. They also had a Stellum Rye (Green) barrel pick. It was called “Buttercream Spice.” They didn’t have one opened but based on the name and the fact I love the Stellum Ryes already, I bought that too. I’ll give some thoughts on it later. They both getting opened tonight.

They'll let you try up to four samples at a time. Some of those picks are fantastic. It's nice that he names them based on prominent tasting notes as well. I always get at least one when I'm in the area.

They had a Starlight barrel pick finished in Sherry casks. It was awesome. I already had two bottles so I passed but hell I may go back tonight and grab it.

That's the one I sampled and bought earlier in the week. The nulu experimental (port finish) was quite good too. I recently got a port finished starlight and mwnd so figured I had enough in that realm for the time being.
