If it was the Gray MK “One” box, is really freaking delicious. Has a chance to try it the other night at my buddies house. I’m a huge toasted fan, outside of basil Hayden toast.

I’d describe it more as a darker brown, maybe maroon. Def wasn’t gray. My eyes are fairly crappy and it was behind customer service so it was a bit from me. But def not gray.

Last one for tonight.

And yeah, the One is what I got. It's kind of surprising they'd still have an older one around.

Yo 8, seriously, do you think that is worth the price? I see it on the shelf and know nothing about it. $300 is quite steep for a bourbon, but my curiosity has been piqued

I’ve only had the BiB so can’t speak of the others, but at $300 that’s a no for me
when I got mine it was $200 and that’s really pushing it price wise
don’t get wrong @17 yr old juice it’s a fantastic pour but definitely a special occasion bottle

It's aight baw. I don't have any other to compare it to though. I like wilderness trail and have only tasted a sample of a rye pick in texas one time and liked it. I get something weird like a cola taste. I will circle back to it. I usually like all of his picks. Although the saz pick was weird to me too. Maybe I'm weird ha!

If you can swing it, go to Cristys in Knoxville. Gatlinburg blows for liquor unless you’re willing to pay 4x retail or higher IF anyone has anything since it’s after allocation/lottery season. Cristys always has bomb store picks.

If you like ryes though, skip the moonshine and grab a bottle of Roaming Man from Sugarlands Distilling.
