132.8 proof good lord. I love high proof, but I drink straight and I would burn my taste buds off with that. This one might force me to put some water in, though I really hate to dilute the product.

You get used to it. I drink 99% of my whiskey neat, also t00f was just drinking a 140 proofed on the last page

Yea and I'm pretty sure I've seen post of some light whiskey as well

Or, I saw the last 2 posts after clicking to the latest post. I hardly ever page back, I could never keep up with all of it.

Despite the proof, I don't think I'll ever do anything but neat. I would give 130-140 a go, maybe it works. Definitely would drink less.

We all drink neat here. Don't knock the higher proof without trying it. A lot of flavor and I'm new to this world.

Also nothing wrong with a little water

Which distilleries did you visit? Which is your favorite? What would be the minimum amount of days you would recommend?

TIA

That is a question best asked during the week and not a game day…

I got it wick...

We did Wild Turkey, Woodford and Castle & Key. It was a good mix of scenery & good juice. Buffalo Trace was on our list and we didn’t make it but heard we didn’t miss out on any limited releases.

I think one full day allows you 3-4 distilleries, depending on your choices/drive time. I’d recommend Mint Julep Tours 100%, Terry was awesome (we did shout “Back up Terry!” a few too many times).

Oh...and 1PD is a Sarah pick at the tailgate
