Saw a Calumet 18 at Costco earlier for $400, even at $100 off of msrp it’s hard to pull the trigger on that.
ETA: even though I’ve heard it’s one of the best pours of the first half of the year, maybe the best batched product of the first half.

I’ve heard people enjoying the 17 over the 18 and I think the 17 is less than $200. Hard to justify the extra cost.

The 17 is $400 msrp, you may be thinking about the 16 that is sub $200.
Everyone I’ve seen or heard from has the 18 year as one of the best releases of the year, but I don’t think I can do $400+ for Barton. A group I’m part of is dropping two of them (18 year Barton’s) in the coming months and I’m passing on both of them. I’d rather spend half of the price and pick up a 13 yr hazmat Barton.

You’re right. I was thinking 16 to 17 not 17 to 18. 18 is a nice arse bottle too.
