Evening gents. Cabernet finish after a couple glasses of Russel’s single barrel. 
That’s an old buddy of mine’s dad and sister that started that distillery. I pass there often and always want to stop to check them out in person. Their rum and tequila is tasty.

Was told the WT PS is very much like Kentucky Spirit, I must agree. The KS is a little smoother, both have a pronounced cherry note through out. Cheers!

I see the private selection is a Tyrone Rickhouse. Looks like the KS is a Camp Nelson. Do they really taste that similar? I heard those Camp Nelson KS are really good.

Yes they do, while at the WT visitor center back in November, the bartender told me this. I finally got around to doing a comparison, they really are very close.

Camp Nelson has an effervescence, similar to ginger ale on some picks out of there. It’s a fantastic note.
