Has anyone seen the Penelope Havana in Louisiana yet? People were seeing some in Texas recently.

It was released in Ohio this week, I was able to get a couple bottles. It’s very sweet and reminded of the RB PX, so I did a side by side to see. The noses are very similar in sweetness but the Penelope has a banana note I can’t find in the PX. That’s where the similarity ends, the palate and finish are distinctively different, however they both carry a sweetness from start to finish. This would be a great desert drink because of the sweetness, very easy drinker and an excellent pour for an introduction to bourbon.

I really like this medium mouthfeel and good cherry taste almost like a cigar.
