As for the old Forrester, I would say Martin‘s pic, 1920, 1924 in order. 1924 was fantastic but very round and smooth. 1920 had some sharpness to it which I like. they are all really close on the higher end. Never got to taste the birthday.

It's hard to beat the JD for the price. It makes a killer cocktail as well.

This one won't win any value awards, but I have a hard time turning down ryes, especially unique ones. I was able to sample immaculata and the maple, in addition to this. To me, this was the clear winner.
