Good evening gentlemen. Didn't think it'd take two months, but a win (especially against falcons) is worth a pour.

Evening Baws
How’s that one?
Starting the evening on with this Russell’s Reserve 10 year that’s been being talked about on the interwebs. It’s an LL/ME laser code which from rumors online supposedly is the “reject” barrels that didn’t make the cut for Russell’s 15, so yes this is supposedly 15 years old, rather than 10.
Honestly, I can’t tell you if it’s BS or not because Russell’s 10 is not a bottle that I typically drink. It’s good, but I don’t know if they are all this good

FPD The only whisky people I listen to online are Ralfy and Serge for scotch/rum. and Fred Minnick. The other folks on youtube are full of shite.

Cam Leach from Drums & Drams has a great palate, he’s a young guy and doesn’t have a huge following but he gets geeky about whiskey and knows his shite.
Rare Bird aka David Jennings essentially consigned the rumors about this Russell’s 10 batch, and he definitely knows his Wild Turkey.

I second the JD BP rye suggestion. It's fantastic in a Manhattan or old fashioned and enjoyable neat too. You won't regret buying either though.
Epic, the Willett is on profile. Dough, plenty of cinnamon, and maple. I think it's better than last year's release. I'll be doing a blind this week to see how it stacks up with the others I've got. At the price point, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone except willett fans. The value isn't there given all of the competition. However, I don't regret the purchase. I'm just a sucker for their products.
