I wish Four Roses had that OESO available last week when I stopped in at their distillery.
I picked up their single barrel barrel strength OESQ that was available. I opened it last night for a sip and will let it sit for several weeks. Lil hot which takes over the flavor. Hoping that letting it sit will help it balance out

Good evening gentlemen. I was able to pick this up while visiting family in NJ. Got a few others that I don't see around here. This one is easy to recommend if you like Bookers. More complexity than the typical offering and a significantly better mouthfeel, but it's got the same general profile. It's easily the best Bookers I've owned and the 30th is the only one I've had that might be better.

Woodford Double Oaked will be at pretty much any grocery/liquor store with a decent selection, Rouses for example. Eagle Rare will probably not be found on a shelf, and almost certainly not for MSRP.

In Louisville for the bourbon trail. Heading to buffalo trace in the morning and hoping they have ER or Blanton’s. I did get a bottle of Peerless double oak yesterday.

Good day today. We were at Buffalo Trace early and went to the gift shop. They had Eagle Rare 10, Weller special reserve, Buffalo trace, Sazerac Rye, and Wheatley vodka. I got a couple bottles of Weller and a bottle of ER.
We then went to Wild Turkey. Jimmy Russel was there and signed a bottle of Kentucky Spirit for me. It’s been a cool experience.
