After further inquiries, it's not worth much.

Man, as a big bourbon guy I feel like I been missing out by not ever clicking on this board.

Looks like I need to look out for some K. Luke. Never heard of it or even seen it around here in Bossier/Shreveport but it's been posted a bunch in the pages I've scrolled through.

It's from the guy who used to own Maisano's Fine Wine & Spirits out in Ocean Springs.

He sources and blends, I really like the Barrel Strength Bourbons.

Do they distill their own whiskey? Or source?

FPD is a fantastic 11.5 year MGP SiB rye. I have another of these on the way. Considering buying another too

Great value at ~$115

They distill and age on premises . 3 brothers who quit their day jobs and started up 7 or 8 years ago. They just released a 6 year cask strength which is solid.

This is a good one! Interested in hearing impressions from those who bought the wheated or high rye. I saw all three on shelves today so that's encouraging.

I could never find a bottle of Jack Daniels 12 year but a generous friend provided me a sample so trying it for the first time.

First impression this is really nice.

Love the JD12. That's one I'll be looking for every year.

Starting with a cocktail (bourbon smash). For whatever reason I almost always go with 4R for mint juleps and these.

All my shite is in storage and I’ve been too lazy to go get it so I started a new little stash in my rental.

Sipping on some Russel’s Private Barrel currently.

I’ve never had any of them so not sure which one I will crack next tonight.

Russell’s SiB is always solid.

Also, can’t go wrong with an EHT SiB.
