Total wine picks.
For those of you that have a total wine nearby, how are their store picks generally speaking? I’m in Houston and there is a barrell 14yr total wine pick. I’m a big fan of the barrell 14yr and 15yr bottles that I’ve had, so I’m sure I’ll figure a way to sneak it past my wife and into the car.

Picked this up at the New Riff distillery, and it is excellent, received four barrels from Breaking Bourbon. .

It's like you had an after dinner mint. That stuff could make a decent breath freshener in a pinch.
I just got their 8 year rye, but haven't opened it yet.
I just ran this blind and Crittenden's won. I enjoy the double oak, but the family reserve is on a completely different level. 65 bucks at the distillery. Incredible pour and value.

Evening baws, enjoyed a Sazerac while dining out al fresco tonight (it was blazing out there, would not recommend for the faint of heart).

Good evening gentlemen. Went to a Kluke tasting with Maisano earlier. The rye now has KY as part of the blend. I enjoyed the previous ones, but batch 3 is better imo. No dill and not quite as sweet.

I totally forgot that he was at Cannatas. I need to swing by and see if they have some left.
Crittenden’s seems to be the new stuff that everyone is jumping on.
That’s until that Hauk Tuah bottle comes out. lol

Evening baws, FPD is a fresh crack that came in today. 11.5 year MGP 95/5 single barrel. Super viscous, sweet, herbal, minty, long finish. Definitely glad I pulled the trigger on this one.
