How is that?

I know you didn't ask me, but I recently picked up a bottle and to me it has a Wild Turkey profile, caramel, vanilla, oak, a bit savory too. I like it, I would like it much more if it was $75 rather than $100, but it's good.

Good evening gentlemen. Irritatingly enough, I've been dealing with another bout of covid. This time I didn't lose smell/taste completely, but it's not good enough to justify neat pours yet.

This is a "mad max", one of white pillars original cocktails. 2 parts Rittenhouse, 1 aperol, and 1 cynar.

Thanks! This time has been a lot better than the last round. It just seems especially cruel that it takes away the joy of food and drinks.

I got enough out of the first one to give this a shot.

Glad to hear you are doing well!!! When I caught the Covid back when it first came out I also lost taste and smell COMPLETELY!!! It was the craziest feeling. All I can remember is being nervous I would be one of the few who didn’t get it back and that my bourbon collection would go to shite. I tried having a neat pour a little too soon and all I could taste was peppered water. A very concerning time. It was so disheartening!!! But alas my senses came back and I’ve appreciated every pour since!

So tonight some customers who are well versed in bourbon wanted to try something different, we blended a 15 start sherry cask pour, an 18 year EC pour and a Midwinter's night dram pour together. It was pretty damn tasty.

Looks good toof! Picked up a bottle of Stagg today from the local liquor store. I’m starting to figure out the bourbon hunt. Damn fun!
