2PD Amazing what Macallan can be when they leave it alone and put it in a good cask. They dont make it like this anymore.

Evening baws, not drinking tonight, but watching Fred Minnick’s awards.

K Luke batch 6 came in 21st. Great showing by them.

Top 5:

5. Nelson Bros. 15 year rye
4. Nashville Barrel Co Cask Strength batch 4
3. Larceny A123
2. Larceny C923
1. Buffalo Trace Prohibition: Old Stagg

There's a lot of affordable and available stuff on the list. It's hard to imagine a more successful year and a half than KLuke has had.

Here's the full list: LINK

Looks like he moved some around this morning, he mentioned that he was going to re-blind today to verify results.

K Luke batch 6 ultimately came in at 20.

Looks like I need to pick up a Jefferson's Tropics and Barrell Batch 035.

He also has Maker's Cellar Aged at 84, that was kinda a shocker.

But, at the same time it's a blind tasting of 100 pours. A lot is going to depend on what you drank immediately prior to your current pour. He wasn't going back and forth, it was just a quick nose, taste, and commentary on each pour. Could be a completely different outcome if he was just blind 10 pours going back and forth to each.
