Wick, yep, it’s really good. I like what they did with it

So I went over to a friends house who brought out a 5-6-7 vertical of a Pinhook rye he helped pick (5) from Elios. I was blown away with all of them. I went and picked up the 5 year as it has a distinct mint profile. Very good.

It’s pretty fun to drink swish it around and it makes my spit thicc. It could be the skin cells coming off tho. Hot but not as hot as you would think. I out a little ice for the last sip and it opened it up nicely. Not an oak bomb at 27y I’d assume because it’s much cooler in Canada.

Those light whiskeys are fun too. some of them, even tho run around 146-50 are not that hot, kinda a bubble gum profile.

Also let's throw some respect to the best value rye on the market today. OF Rye is freaking amazing

OF rye is damn good, but I can't give it best value.

Once or twice a year zuppardos gets their saz rye barrel pick in and I buy a few bottles at $18 a pop.

Great in a cocktail, good neat, and when people are over there generally pretty shocked they're drinking saz rye and enjoying it the way they are.
