That does sound good. Breaking bourbon has cost me a decent amount of money and you're not too far behind (starlight and sagamore collections).

Last one for the evening.

Looking forward to batch 2 of the rye and the new toasted bourbon. I think he'll probably have something in the near future finished in port barrels given the wine background.

Got a last-minute call from TA this morning to help pick a barrel of Makers. We went through the presentation of narrowing down a taste profile we were looking for and I think we will have a good barrel on the way.

Just now getting into bourbon. The only things I’ve really had is weller full proof, Blantons, and just got a bottle of New Riff single barrel. How do I ask about allocated bourbons without sounding like a dip shite?

This, but when you run across them grab them, don’t get crazy on secondary sites, Louisiana gets its fair share for the most part but always remember there are long time customers ahead of you. I frequent the same store for the most part and the local chain liquor managers know what I like and when they get it they usually text me if they have more than one to go around. As said above there are plenty of great bottles on the shelf daily that after a few pours you wouldn’t know the difference in the unicorns and the every day bottles you can enjoy, happy hunting
