The only "chilling" done to any whiskey before bottling is "chill filtering"

The taste of it is pretty lite as well. I've had it a couple of times and have a bottle of it in my cabinet that I let guests use.
Uncle....that barrel is AWESOME!! My father in law would kill to have that, he is a huge Dickel fan.

Enjoying my new Costco membership. Nice Bourbon selection with pretty much the cheapest prices I have seen. Today I saw BT, ER10, Bookers, EHTSmB, Baby Saz to name a few.
