All this talk of dick...el made me thirsty for it. So I went to the local pigly wiggle to see if they had some. Heard they had a good selection. Low and behold...some dickel...and some cured oak.

Unreal. The only piggly wigglys left in BR are in very undesirable areas of town. Someone go venture down Choctaw and Plank and check it out.

I told you I left a Cured Oak on the shelf at the pig.
1PD 1792. Almost went with EHTBP, since the Col is all we're talking about. Guess he'll be next pour.

I've never had any of the Colonel, is the small batch worth it as an entry level?

Or should I just dive into the single barrel?

The small batch is definitely a good pour. I just spend a little more and get the si glee barrel. I do the same with 4R as well though. But the entire EHT lineup is consistent and all priced well imo.

Small batch is excellent but single barrel is one notch above for sure.

I'd get the small batch and when it's almost done get a single barrel and have it side by side so you can taste the difference. I like doing that...that's why I get both. Like mmm the small batch is good...then...another notch lol. Like barter then rhetoric....

I had my first pour of EHTSB last night and I enjoyed it. Seems like a good value to me. I just didn't feel like spending the extra $ at the moment. Which worked out well because I picked up a bottle of Bookers "dots batch" today.

Now if I could only get my hands on some CO, I'll have an EHT orgy.
