Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage used to be under $20 and was the best in that category imo. I'd get it at Albertson's on Perkins for $19.99.

Baws, look what I found to da shelf at da piggly wiggly!
And I picked up a couple bottles of that larceny. Nothing special, but a decent wheatear from heaven hill to match up against the Weller line up. Not much flavor if I remember correctly and sweeter than I prefer. But a smooth drinker for a beginner.
