J i've always used Peychaud's Bitters and Legendre Herbsaint
i just line the chilled glass with the HS and then mix everything else in another glass

Boissiere. Oh, and it's better w/ 1/2 amount called for or use 1/2 sweet and 1/2 dry.

Really good choice. I like the Dolin. I prefer the Boissiere. But, you can't go wrong with either.

Nvm did some quick research and appears 1-2 months in fridge and you should be good

no it would spoil over night but it basically wine and it will go stale, i try and get the smaller 375ml bottles if i can
just make ta a shite load of Manhats over the next month or so and your fine baw

Consensus here is the makers cask strength isn't worth the money? Saw it today and couldn't decide to pull the trigger. Weller 12 is hard t find locally save for one store who has it stacked to the rafters and tempted to load up on it and skip makers cask.
