I wonder how the taste of that one would compare to this one. A "pre-antique" Old Weller 107 that is now a true antique. A gift from my Dad's liquor cabinet.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll hang on for a while. Not sure exactly what moment I'm saving it for though.

Really enjoyed this bottle, my favorite of the High West I've tried. Great balance of spice and sweetness.

That's making my mouth water. That's one of the scotches I need to put on my list.

I'm a newb to Scotch, I've only tried 20-25 different ones but this is now the Scotch, dare I say maybe even the whiskey, to beat for me. Like I said I'll be getting a bottle of Oban 14 soon. I've only had a few Highland malts, should be interesting.
Oh and 3PD: Lagavulin 16

I'm no scotch expert by any means, and it looks like you've tried more than me.
The Oban 14 is just very balanced. But if you enjoy the really smokey and peaty scotches, it might not be for you. That being said, I've enjoyed all the styles I've had (including Laphroaig) and the Oban is my favorite so far.

The 15 is my favorite every day scotch as I am not rich enough to drink the 18 every day.
The 18 is great
The 19 is the best
The 21 is good but not great.
The 30 is magnificent but I only get to drink it on my birthday as it was a birthday present from the Mrs.
