I have to pick mine up still so nope not yet.

Barterhouse is good...I really like it. It's not too limited so you should be able to find it and I think there is a second release.

Don't think it's supposed to be any different from regular 'old Elmer is it?

Slightly higher prof. Only thing I read was slight disappointment with it...but I didn't look for a bunch of reviews...just some I happens upon.

I'm just starting to get into rye a little. I hated the 4 year Willett. The E.H. Taylor is good. I've also enjoyed the blends I've tried (Son of Bourye and Forgiven). For the first time, I tried Bourye and Handy last night. Handy was good and Bourye was ridiculously good.

I'm planning to try the Angels Envy Rye soon. At the dinner at the Bourbon House, AE's owner described it as almost an after dinner dessert drink.

Agreed the willette 4yr is not so good. Love the eht rye but I'm a fan boy. I can see the AE rye being described as a desert drink.

How was your get together the other night?

Cracked my 12-107 50/50 tonight (2.5 weeks post mix).

Why did I wait this long to hunt down both bottles! Superb...would be content to sip that every night...

Also, get to pick up my Booker's 25th in Lafayette this weekend

I'm inept at the search function but what is the 50/50 concoction you speak of? Half the 107 and half 12 year?

It went great. Everyone liked everything there except a few hated the Handy. I knew it would be intense for a few of them. Clear cut last place was OFBB '13. I've never understood the hype on that one. As a bonus, I also brought out a bottle of Booker's 25th. A few of the guys absolutely fell in love with it. When it was just a few of us left, I let them try the EH Taylor BP and Rye (the single Barrel was in the lineup). I definitely created a couple more EH Taylor fans.

OFBB13 was one of my favorite, if not favorite, fall releases. I wish I would've bought a case at that price.

Exactly. Until Saturday, I was starting to think I was the only one that didnt love the stuff. It's not horrible but it just doesn't hold up in the premium category. In fact, I would pass it up for many regular offerings even if it were a $25-$30 bottle.

I normally drink Knob Creek, Bookers, Blantons, Belle Meade, and Bulleit Rye, but had some Angel's Envy Rye over the weekend...it was excellent, and is unfortunately unavailable in Birmingham. Does anyone know if its available in Tennessee or Georgia?

Not sure about the AE rye and who has it.

I love the ofbb 13 as well...I still have 2 or 3 stashed away. Its not hard to make new eht people either...one of the best lineups!

Yes 50/50 weller 107/12...i love to drink it...hard to wait 2 weeks tho. I plan to try some side by side at different mixed ages to see if I can tell....without a blender involved lol
