It's supposed to be really bad this year. Way past it's prime. If you get stuck with a bottle, maybe you can salvage it by mixing it with Diet Coke.
Rum is in now. That is the good stuff.
:pass it on so we don't have to hunt so hard in the fall:

I'm in the market for a new cabinet too. Misses says I can't have anymore of the built in China cabinets.
Oh and about that scotch, yea I am not a scotch guy. That Oban 18 tastes like burnt sawdust and rubbing alcohol
So don't worry guys, I won't be trying to talk about scotch, ever

Bourbon night with some goodies. Ribs, boudin, and nunus sausage.

That isn't a cheap one either... $150 bottle.

He inherited it from some friends.

I know Crown doesn't get too much love here but this stuff is ridiculously tasty.

What year is that bottle from?
Posted on 4/4/14 at 9:12 pm to Uncle JackD
Pretty sure it was bottled in 68. Lost track of the tax strip once I opened it.

Wasn't paying much attention and figured it was regular crown...apparently not. I assu.e the old crown is way better than the regular new stuff?

Me, DVT, NOLAGT, & Beardface drinking the brown juice tonight.

It's pretty sweet compared to bourbon but really easy to drink...maybe too easy. Miles ahead of current releases though.
