I have been tempted with the BT single oak project stuff but I can't stand the woodford double oak so I worry it may be too much oak. I'd give some thought to the wheated stuff they just did or are going to do.

I bet there is some left. They didn't have it on the shelves and they were shady on the phone. If not for beard's friend telling me for sure they had it, they could have convinced me they were out.

One of those is for my dad and the other is all me. I can see if they'll let me buy on more and get it for you for cost.

it hit my spot this week also but I passed at the $179.99 price tag. I think that $ is extreme

The BT single oak project isnt really intended to be a bottling containing more oak taste or anything like that. It's an experiment BT is doing using controlled variables in the making of the barrels. Different trees, different sections of the trees, etc...

They charge entirely too much for their "experimental" stuff Imo. $50-$60 for a pint?? That's more than BTAC prices.

I think the Single Oak Project is pretty cool, but the price tag is keeping me from getting into the tasting program.

yea same here. if i did it i would want to start with several different barrels and i'm not spending $300 on 5 or 6 pints.

Right...but anything with oak in the description like that makes me think of the awful double oak I had lol.....that and the price.
