If it's in Lafayette, think I may have been one of those who passed on the ER 17 ....Not sure what you paid, but the price was more than it is worth to me.

I still have a few feelers out for some high-end stuff I have my eye on from the distributor, so chose to pass on that.

No regrets here, but glad you were able to pad that collection!

I went to the tasting, someone was there from Alexandria and took home the 20. I got pulled passed on the 23 Pappy at $400 and bought the Stagg at $100......

Stagg at $100......

Edited: Even though I'd probably suck it up for the PVW23, just saying that's a great price for Stagg...

Good question, not sure. I saw the big bright sticker by it and almost had a heart attack when I saw the $1000 price tag. Said it was "one of the rarest whiskey's in the world"

Which store in br has the single barrel EC12? How far off interstate is it? Passing through this afternoon and may stop by

Is there a widely available bourbon that is even remotely close to the value that EC12 is? This juice is fantastic bourbon IMO, and at $25 it's a steal. I hope it stays that way!

A h hirsch made a limited run of 1000 bottles of 16 yr old bourbon in 2009. These were slated as the last hirsch barrels that existed out of michters distillery. Msrp was $1499.

There were also a 15 yr old wax top bottle and a 20 yr that I doubt still exist.
