Was gonna do ribeyes but they were thin like 1" maybe. I like the dry aged from rouses a lot too.

Yeah my neighbor is hooked on those, he'll do them at least once a week. I don't complain

Damnit, that picture has gotten me hungry.

How well do the stones cool things off? Do you use them for your pappy or drink it neat?

Not a lot like ice...but it does cool a tad...enough to make it more enjoyable for me neat. Like when it's room temp I loose the flavor when I first sip it. Maybe like wine and chilling the reds just under room temp. Makes it stand out a little more.

I stopped by Martin's last night to continue striking out in the search for BTAC. While there, they let me sample their 9 & 14 year old George Dickel single barrel picks. The 14 was good, but the 9 was very good. Very flavorful and it was an extremely easy sipper at 103 proof. I picked up 2 bottles.

I saw those the other day and wondered how they tasted. Good to know.

He's crying into his coffee after waking up to empty bottles of PVW and Hirsch.

I was just thinking the same thing. Man that was some drinking there! I finally got my hands on a Jefferson Pres 21 Rye and Jefferson Chef's Collaboration.

The typos in his last post proves he had a good night.

Hahaha totally missed the typos! I was feeling good but not too too bad...up at 8 and already at a birthday party there was also a sample of pappy 15 before all that but it was more of just a shot.

I have had that 14 dickel and love it...may have to grab one of the others to try.
