Lol no8...gonna be a bit before that 15 gets cracked. I have a fresh 13 open now.
I get drunk on any of it...cheep or expensive. If I'm already wrecked I try not to pour the good stuff...but that doesn't always pan out that way
For instance...40th bday lineup

Do y'all get high on your good supply?
What I mean is so you get drunk on the high dollar stuff, or do you enjoy one or two and then slam back $20 brown stuff?
Hitting the ORVW right now.
Depends on whether I start the night with a little hydro or grand daddy purple first.

I usually start with an allocated pour and then head to a solid store pick after a glass or two.
I actually have my harder to get bottles all the way in the back of my cabinet hoping that my drunk self won't go through the effort.
That works about 50% of the time.
Today is an exception just because I was excited to try this cheap pickup.
FPD: Alberta Rye Dark Batch. For $26 this is really good and interesting in my opinion.

FPD: Bulleit Rye. This is my first time trying Rye in general, and it's not bad.

I have a bottle of Alberta rye. Picked it up at the liquor store owners recommendation. It really is pretty good stuff. I have enjoyed every pour I've had of it.

Exactly
Rye is not bad but not my fav. I like it from time to time to mix things up. Like scotch...
Drock...does your sweater match your cup?

I was excited to see their entry into the US market. I picked up a bottle each of their 25 and 30 year old ryes a while back in Vancouver for $25 and $45 a few years back. Unbelievable value.
I was just reading up on it and found some interesting info.
45.5% pot still whiskey aged in new charred American oak for 6 years. (Rumored to be the same that became whistlepig)
45.5% column still whiskey aged 12 years in used bourbon barrels
8% Old Grand Dad bourbon
1% Oloroso Sherry

I honestly think that if they release their older aged ryes here that they will eventually be as sought after as PVW and BTAC.
