So is your aim to make everyone else realize their "connections" aren't shite compared to yours? Are you going to feel the need to come to the raffle Thursday cause i think you need to stay home and let the rest of us at least have a shot

I like it a lot. Especially for the price. Just recommended it to someone the other day. I haven't seen the single barrel one. I got this at bin q and I have seen Abraham bowman? Or something at calandros before.

You most likely saw John J Bowman which is the single barrel. Abe Bowman is their special releases that we don't get down here anymore.

Northshore guys...I have a friend that is going to Covington today (he is also a Bourbon guy) and I was thinking of asking him to stop by Aquistapaces to pick up a couple of bottles of barrel picks. I called them and they said they had 5 different Elijah Craig selections. Which are the best? Any other barrel picks worth picking up?

Just heard the local Hokus Pokus took a spent barrel to Parish and had them barrel age some Grand Reserve in it. Bottles supposedly are in the store, about to head over and see, limit one per person.
If anyone is in the Alex area, will post update when I get back.

ETA: Update- bought the last one.

Yes, I love their Elijah Craig barrel picks....id pick up 2 or 3 to sample.

Tell him to try to get different numbers first off...last time I went they only had 4 & 6. If they only have 6, have them get different letters (6B, 6D, etc).

They're all 22.99 IIRC

I think my favorite was 6C but I'll have to check when I get home.

They also have barrel picks of Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, 2 Angel's Envy, and 2 Four Roses Single Barrel. Probably some others that I've forgotten too. It's private pick heaven.
