Not bad for a quick morning hunt. I also tasted that Martin's Kentucky Spirit select barrel. Pretty good.

FPD JD barrel proof
This stuff really really impresses me. Wayyyyyy wayyyyyyyy better than JD No 7.. Full of flavor. I'll be buying one when it hits LA.
128.9 proof. This might need a splash of water. Guess I could use my tears after that game.

Got to try this last night. A buddy works for the distillery and brought it down with him. Sadly, I was already half lit when he showed up at the house, so I don't have much to report on it.

What ya think of it, cotton? And, yes, it does need a cube or splash of water.

It's pretty good. Not as much burn on the finish as I was expecting. I ended up adding a little water to it though. Hard to believe that Jack Daniels is just now offering a barrel proof. I don't think the Sinatra took off like they had hoped. I live close to the distillery and it is unbelievable the number of warehouses they have built in the last 5 years.
This one has not been in the bottle long.

Four Roses is one of the best out there! Get a barrel proof OBSV and you'll love it even more.
