In my defense I’m from North Alabama and do not expect to see a palm tree beside a plantation home. Live oaks, azaleas, magnolias sure. Palm tree no.

Tried to kick this hangover so I could try a glass of this stuff, but just haven’t been able to shake back.

It’s a “thing” in south Louisiana. When I moved into my house I removed 3 palm trees from the front of my house and one from the back. Still have a couple in the back near the pool, but the ones in the front of the house were a bit much

Been drinking and hanging with the family. Earlier today was sharing my blantons with my lifelong friends. Finally got together for first time in months. Tonight my 3 pours in order (it’s a Cambeltown night)

Did a blind taste test with some guys in the family tonight.
We ranked each in a few categories and here are the results in order from left to right; Makers 46 was the champ.

due to higher proof it's got more going on than like a 1910 but the high amount of choco staves takes the burn away. I hate giving Dorignacs my money but they can have it for this bottle. Delicious.

Not what I wanted to read, because now I want it At $70 is within line for pricing on that bottle. Surprised they aren't asking $100

Has anyone tried the Old Forester 1915? If so, is it just a 50/50 blend of the 1910 and 1920? Also, and idea of where to get the 1915 label/sticker? Plan on making this soon and trying it out.
