That Ragged Branch pick is great for the price, but not sure I’d grab one that wasn’t a store pick. I trust the Keife & Co. guys big time, might be the best pickers in NOLA

Won’t fight you on that too hard...depending on the price point. However, EC store picks usually out-perform the normal stuff.

hey serious questions
1. how is that 1792? there's a shop near me with their own 'small batch' that is exclusive to them that i almost got..it was like $55 i think
2. they also had one bottle of 'prohibition style'? or 'confiscated'? KY Owl for $129. is it worth getting? I was looking for the rye and i understand of the 3 versions of Ky Owl this is the least desirable. t or f?
3. they tried to talk me into a single barrel RR i was like 'no i'm good'

I like the 1792 offerings...idk if the small batch is worth 55 tho id have to check pricing. I would think single barrel maybe.

True. The older bourbons were good with batch 3 and 6 being the best IMO. The first batch of the rye was great, but they went bust after that. The confiscated is turrible.
