How It Works
By controlling the freezing process with our patent-pending design, our ice makers are able to isolate and remove any air bubbles or impurities in the water before they freeze inside the ice ball or cube. In addition to being visually striking, removing air bubbles from the ice makes it denser and eliminates the risk of it breaking up in your drink.
Rate of Dilution for Different Ice ShapesIt's also important to note that different ice shapes melt and dilute drinks at different rates—which means the shape of your ice should be influenced by your taste and specific drink. For instance, the surface area to volume ratio of a sphere is less than a cube of the same size. Less surface area means that a sphere will melt much more slowly, providing you with a drink that stays colder longer and is less diluted. A colder, less diluted drink is ideal for anyone who wants to maintain the flavor—whether it’s an iced coffee or a high-quality bourbon. By the same token, those who like their drinks more watered down could choose several small cubes or crushed ice, which have more surface area to volume and will dilute your drink faster. To get started, simply fill one of our devices with regular tap water (the warmer the better) and place into an ordinary home freezer set between -10 and +10 degrees fahrenheit.

May I propose another bottle share? Martin's Metairie or Houmas House? If it's the latter I can provide a bus or Sprinter-style service at cost to split amongst us...would have to speak to HH owner about how he makes $ in this scenario (but we can work a deal via his RR picks, etc or food).
In that scenario I can get wholesale (not cost) transport from Lafayette to HH or Martins through my company.
Just let me know some feedback. the Martin's metairie meetup was flat out epic. The 4R 125 reminded me of it.

Yes, that was a hell of a night I walked in late and struggled to catch up with all the great bottles laid out

Finally got around to making my own Four Roses SMBLE batch!
Same 4 recipes as the 130th, from 6 different barrel strength store picks. I bottled them in 375 ml bottles that are essentially shaped like BTAC/Willett bottles. I vatted them in a big glass jar for 6 months. Final result is really tasty. Honestly, it would be hard to mess this up, working with all cask strength, ncf high quality juice.
750 ml OESK - 9 yr 115.8 proof
750 ml OESK - 9 yr 114.6 proof
750 ml OESV - 10 yr 103.8 proof
375 ml OESV - 10 yr 104.4 proof
750 ml OBSV - 9 yr 116.2 proof
375 ml OBSF - 9 yr 106.8 proof
9 yr / 111.22 proof
3,750 mls
10 - 375 ml bottles
