Speaking of that, I made my first bourbon lamp. I used Dram as a test before I tore up a Pappy bottle. I didn’t realize the Dram bottle’s bottom is over 1/2” thick. Took me forever to drill it.

That's nice. My son gave me a Crown Royal (I know but he still drinks Bud Light) bottle lamp for Christmas last year. It's still in the box. I wonder if I can transfer the insides to a better empty bottle.

The one I just made is built from a lamp I bought on clearance at Lowe’s. It took me little over an hour, but thirty minutes was just drilling the bottle.

This project cost me $35. but that included the glass drill bit and superglue.

I need to use an epoxy instead of superglue

I have a Lot B waiting, but I need to tweak it. I need to cut and thread the pole that goes through the lamp, instead of using superglue/epoxy.

I want to get rid of the shade and use the globe below or make my own globe with the decal below. The decal is $15 itself.

I am an ad sucker and purchased 2 of those Norlan whisky glasses. I also got a few of the heavy tumblers. Pricey but very nice compared to other stuff I have found. Merry Christmas to me

Cool, I've heard about Lenells picks. She's that one that was in New York before?

FWIW

I am not a rye whiskey drinker, I prefer wheat based, but yesterday did a cigar show at a very high upscale boutique in Frisco and they talked me into tasting one.

For those who like the taste of scotch or the harder taste of whiskey, this is likely not for you, but if you like smooth taste with some sweetness, this was superb....will be buying a bottle later today.

BTW Thanks to those of you who helped me word a proper ad in BSM - got the job done on the Winkle 10.
