Just picked up Four Roses OESF Barrel at Tony K's in Houston. Never had before but I like the regular 4R Single Barrel.

Looking to make an Advent calendar for a few good friends. Is there a store in the area that sells mini bottles? I'd prefer to find one in Baton Rouge but can drive to New Orleans if necessary. Also, if more than one store, can y'all rank who has the best selection? Thanks in advance, I lurk but don't really know my way around the good stuff like y'all do.

I've noticed that, will do. Anyone in particular I should ask for? I've seen an employee post here but not sure if he has made / wants his name known. Or just show up and ask for advice? Like I mentioned before I'm not very familiar with stuff that isnt mass marketed so I could use the guidance.

What about getting some sample bottles off amazon and filling your own minis. The mini bottles you can purchase in stores is limited

With an unlimited supply, you could make a hell of an advent calendar for the current year. BTAC, Pappy Collection, 4 Rose yearly release, Birthday bourbon, it would be incredible

If I am not mistaken, the sale of mini bottles or 50ml airplane bottles is prohibited in Louisiana. I know this because I was looking for them myself a few years ago. Apparently it has something to do with the tourism, bar and restaurant lobby. I picked up a bunch in Orange Beach a while back. I think the smallest that you can get in Louisiana may be a 200ml bottle.

Yeah I don't ever recall seeing them in New Orleans. They're all over the place here in Houston. Some are really good deals, like Tullamore Dew minis are $0.78 each by the case at Spec's. That comes out to a good bit cheaper equivalent than buying the 1.75L bottle.

Gotcha. Thanks, looks like I'll need to stock up over the year, don't think my wife would like me buying 24 bottles at once, especially not if I wanted to get a few rarer ones like I was hoping for.

What are y’all using to post pictures... I was using photobucket but it kept giving me issues so I deleted the app and can’t find it to re-install.

I know how you feel, my 1pd is Booker's Rye. Not much left to this bottle either.
